Client Engagement Lead / Senior Software Engineer AI/ML, EPI-USE
Arné leads the EPI-USE AI Services division within EPI-USE Global Services.
He joined the company in January of 2020 and has served in various client-facing roles, leading software engineering and machine learning projects from conception to production. Arné’s expertise lies in big data, image and video processing, predictive analytics, recommender systems, neural entity recognition, and translation.
He holds a master’s degree in computer science, specializing in AI, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in computer science, with a focus on artificial neural networks. With over 12 years of professional experience, Arné has spent the last 7 years specializing in machine learning.
He is also a lecturer of Software Engineering and AI at the University of Pretoria, where his focus area is at the intersection of software engineering, data science, and machine learning. Arné describes himself as a futurist, AI prophet, nerd, loving husband, and father to two beautiful daughters.
