Currently, not only is Prof. Chiba a Partner at the Strategists, but he is a Principal Consultant and Data Analysis Specialist at ATBMI Advisory and a faculty member at the prestigious Gordon Institute of Business Science. He is also a non-executive director of BioRecord Healthcare Solutions (Pty) Ltd and an advisory board member of CIRT.

In the past, he has held several senior positions, including CEO of BioRecord Healthcare Solutions (Pty) Ltd, where he optimised functions and diversified the company. He has skills in corporate, NGO/NPO, and academic environments and draws successfully from experience in these sectors.
