FUTURE AFRICA
A unique pan-African platform
Future Africa is the University of Pretoria’s collaborative platform for research that works across the sciences and with society to address Africa’s biggest and most urgent contemporary challenges. Their fundamental purpose is to develop and unleash the transformative potential of African sciences to inform and inspire a future of thriving African societies.
Break-away rooms
A suite of 6 break-away rooms, which overlook the auditorium, are perfect for brainstorming and discussions in smaller groups (10-12 delegates). The break-away rooms offer full AV synchronization with the main auditorium and is also fully sound proof to allow for separate meetings.
The Hub
The Hub includes 3 private dining or meeting spaces that can host 18 delegates each. These flexible spaces can be used undivided which allows a capacity for 60 guests. The extended dining hall offers seating capacity for 250 guests. The Hub provides an ambient setting for gala functions and also offers Audio-visual capacity.
Conference room 1
Future Africa offers two conference rooms with a capacity for 50 delegates each. These venues can be used in conjunction with the main auditorium to facilitate group discussions and are equipped with Audio-visual.

Research Commons
The Research Commons boardroom provides executive style meeting venue for up to 18 delegates. The room is equipped with Audio-visual.
Future Africa is located on the TUKS Sports Campus (entrance on South Street)
