Sybella van Niekerk is a Finance Director in the motor industry with a passion for digital transformation. She is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, with three years of experience from a Big4 accounting firm and over 10 years of experience in commercial roles. Sybella has excellent communication skills that enable her to apply strong technical and commercial knowledge to management decisions and foster a collaborative relationship with the wider organization. She has successfully delivered a significant digital transformation project and has experience in Salesforce implementation, business process design, and change management.

Sybella is a strong team player who leads by example and fosters a trusting environment focused on personal and team development and growth. She has completed a Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of Texas at Austin (McCombs School of Business) and a Digital Transformation Strategy Course from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business (GSB), which equipped her with the skills needed to drive digital transformation through a human-centric approach.

As a woman and mother, Sybella has a passion for coaching and is a proud ambassador of the SAICA Mentoring program. She is a strong team player who leads by example, fosters a trusting environment while focusing on her and her team’s development and growth.

Currently, Sybella is the Finance Director at Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and Sub Sahara Africa, where she is transforming Jaguar Land Rover’s go-to-market model in South Africa. Sybella’s ability to leverage multi-disciplinary teams’ expertise to create solutions makes her an exceptional leader in the finance industry. She has a deep understanding of the benefits of a people-centric approach to digital transformation and knows how to develop a strategic roadmap applicable to broad business contexts. By working collaboratively, Sybella has achieved remarkable success.
